Survodutide

Survodutide is an investigational dual receptor agonist that targets both the GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) receptor and the glucagon receptor, and is being studied for its potential role in obesity and metabolic disease management.

Through GLP-1 receptor activation, it may help reduce appetite, slow gastric emptying, and improve insulin secretion, contributing to better blood glucose control and reduced caloric intake. At the same time, glucagon receptor activation is thought to increase energy expenditure and promote fat metabolism, creating a combined effect that supports weight reduction.
