Buyer Protection

Terms & Conditions

The rules that govern how buyers, vendors, and MarketHub work together. Please read carefully — using the platform means you accept these terms.
Effective: April 2026 · Version 1.3

1. Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts. Vendors must provide accurate business information and complete KYC verification. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.

2. Escrow & Payments

All payments are held by MarketHub Escrow until the buyer confirms delivery and inspection. Funds are released to vendors only after the inspection window closes without dispute. Chargebacks initiated outside the platform may result in account suspension.

3. Fees & Commissions

MarketHub charges a per-transaction commission based on your subscription plan (Free 8%, Standard 4%, Premium 2%, Enterprise 1%). Currency conversion, payment-gateway fees, and shipping fees are billed separately.

4. Listings & Content

Vendors warrant that listings are accurate, lawful, and that they own all rights to images and descriptions. MarketHub may remove listings that violate these terms, infringe IP, or mislead buyers.

5. Prohibited Items

Counterfeit goods, weapons, illegal substances, hazardous materials, and any items restricted under the export laws of the buyer's or seller's country are strictly forbidden. Violations result in permanent ban.

6. Disputes

Buyers have 7 days from delivery to open a dispute. MarketHub mediates in good faith and may request photos, videos, or third-party inspection reports. Decisions by MarketHub's resolution team are final.

7. Limitation of Liability

MarketHub acts as a facilitator. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees collected on the disputed transaction.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. Any disputes not resolved through mediation will be settled by arbitration under HKIAC rules.
