FOXO4-DRI

FOXO4-DRI is a synthetic research peptide designed to interfere with the interaction between FOXO4 and p53, two proteins involved in cellular stress responses and survival pathways. By disrupting this interaction, it is studied for its potential ability to selectively induce apoptosis (programmed cell death) in senescent cells—cells that have stopped dividing but resist normal clearance.

In preclinical research, FOXO4-DRI has gained attention as a potential senolytic agent, meaning it may help reduce the accumulation of senescent cells that contribute to age-related tissue dysfunction and chronic inflammation.
