Tesamorelin

Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue of growth hormone–releasing hormone (GHRH) composed of 44 amino acids, designed to stimulate the pituitary gland to increase endogenous growth hormone secretion. It is structurally modified to enhance stability and prolong biological activity compared to natural GHRH.

In scientific and clinical research, tesamorelin is primarily studied for its effects on reducing visceral adipose tissue and improving body composition, particularly in metabolic conditions associated with excess abdominal fat. It has also been investigated for its influence on lipid metabolism, insulin sensitivity, and overall metabolic regulation.
