Sermorelin

Sermorelin is a synthetic 29-amino-acid peptide that corresponds to the active fragment of growth hormone–releasing hormone (GHRH). It is designed to stimulate the pituitary gland to promote the natural, pulsatile release of endogenous growth hormone, rather than directly supplying growth hormone itself.

In scientific research, sermorelin is studied for its effects on the growth hormone axis, including potential influences on metabolism, tissue repair, body composition, and age-related hormonal decline. Because it works through physiological signaling pathways, it is often used in studies examining how restoring or enhancing natural growth hormone rhythms affects overall endocrine and metabolic function.
